Sooooo, what's in store for this brand spanking new year that's arrived on our doorstep and is quickly unwrapping itself? Any thoughts on what you want it to look like? Or how you want it to play out? Have we written our scripts or scribbled out our rough draft?
I've got something brewing on my end that I've already begun executing and can't wait to share with you as soon as it's ready to launch. There are, of course, other 'emergencies'...i.e. frozen pipes, flooded basements, obscene kerosene fumes (result of flooded basement), blizzards, power outages, broken washing machine, etc. that rudely insert themselves into all my well laid plans....BUT, those nuisances aside, I'm still super stoked to jump into new adventures and search out different horizons this year. How about you?? I'd love to hear your thoughts, ideas, inspirations....whatever is bubbling up from within! Leave 'em in the comments or shoot me an email. Seriously, I'd love to connect.
I'll try to schedule in the time to load more photos and updates to my Farm Journals and bring you up to speed on the work I've managed to accomplish on the Ye Ol' Farmhouse this past Summer and Fall. We've completed siding the garage/apartment and most of the trim painted along with some doors and the Entryway stairs. I also managed to publish my first Holidays Farm Toast magazine in December 2017.
With four teenaged kiddos, animals, and a large property, there's always 'stuff' going on so daily life presents a never-ending plate twirling balancing act that I manage on a mostly moment by moment basis. I'm sure at least a few of you can relate! Yet, I do love reaching out and sharing what we're doing in our little pocket of rural Maine. Wishing all of y'all who drop in for a visit a heart felt thank you and the very very best this unwrapped bundle of 2018 has to offer us all!!
